Tourneur Carine

Carine Tourneur is Managing Director and Head of Valuation Advisory Services at Duff & Phelps/Kroll in France. She provides financial advice to companies on independent valuation issues in connection with strategic projects relating to mergers & acquisitions, reorganisation, financial restructuring, stock market transactions and commercial litigation. It issues value opinions or fairness opinions for boards of directors, finance and tax departments, and majority or minority shareholders. Its expertise covers the valuation of companies, intangible assets (trademarks and patents), management packages and complex financial instruments. When it comes to applying international accounting standards, she has solid experience in allocating acquisition prices and carrying out impairment tests.

Before joining Duff & Phelps in June 2014, she was a Partner at Deloitte Finance in Paris in the Valuation & Financial Modelling department, which she joined in 2001. and where she developed her valuation expertise.

She began her career in 1987 at Banque Indosuez (Brussels, Tokyo and Paris), where she held various positions in Capital Market, before becoming Head of the Financial Analysis Department, then Director of the Corporate Finance and M&A Department, where she specialised in setting up stock market transactions (IPOs, takeovers, public exchange offers). From 1999 to 2001, she was Director of a financial communications agency specialising in advising company directors on their IPOs.

Carine holds a Master’s degree in Economics from the University of Namur, Belgium, and is a graduate of the Belgian Association of Financial Analysts. She is a member of the board of the Association Professionnelle des Experts Indépendants (APEI), the Société Française des Evaluateurs (SFEV), France Invest and the Association des Professionnels et Directeurs Comptabilité & Gestion (APDC).
